Be aware that as some of the smaller programs have changed, Windows may mark them incorrectly as malware. I am in the process of submitting another false positive to Microsoft. It should get cleared late today. As always, there is no malware within BDJ4. If you use anti-virus software other than Windows Defender, you will have to mark the BDJ4 files as false positives.

Update: the false positive has been cleared. I will continue to try installing on windows throughout the week and check for more false positives.

Before installing on Windows, make sure your anti-virus definitions are up to date.

Windows: Fixed installation and other issues when the Windows account name has international characters.
Windows: Fixed installation when OneDrive is active.
Windows: Fixed uninstaller.
Windows: Installer: Added an option to request VLC installation.

Automated tests were run on:
  • Linux
    • MX Linux 25 [Debian 13] (VLC3 and GStreamer)
  • MacOS
    • MacOS Sequoia (intel) (macports) (VLC3 and MacOS AVPlayer)
    • MacOS Tahoe (apple silicon) (homebrew, macports) (VLC3 and MacOS AVPlayer)
  • Windows
    • Windows 10 (VLC3 and Windows Media Player)
