Ubuntu 20.04: VLC error on startup

Uninstalling and re-installing vlc and libvlc5 did not have any impact.
I get the same error message on startup.

Could you unpack the following zip file and place the 'sysvars.tcl' file into Tanzen/BallroomDJ/code (just overwrite the existing file).
Then run ballroomdj from the command line:

$HOME/Tanzen/BallroomDJ/ballroomdj.tcl

And let me know what the output is.

And in the meantime, I will set up my Ubuntu 20.04 to be in the DE_at locale and test.
I don't believe that any localization issues could cause a problem that early in the startup of ballroomdj,
but that is one major difference between our installations.

Switching to Deutsch helped.
I need to fix my VLC version check to be more language-agnostic.

Ok, replace code/vlcversion.tcl with the attached and you should be working again.
And I'll put together a new release with this fix.
