> Perhaps additional info can be added to the manual. (also just a thought)

There's lots of information in BallroomDJ's built-in help (in english). Also on the wiki (though I
have not got it up to date right now, so it is a few versions behind).

I changed the 'Exit' translation to 'Afsluiten' on crowdin.

I think all of the "Fade" strings could use some clean-up.
Partly the player could use a short string for its button, and I
am worried about consistent usage throughout the program.

I was just testing on crowdin, and there doesn't seem
to be a way to set a translation as empty, but it can be set to a space.
The tooltips that are not used can be set to a single space ( I just modified
my program to ignore a single space).

Fade / TT_FADE - The current translation creates a very long button.
And this is one spot where horizontal screen space is important.
Can it just be "Fade" or "Fade Out" in dutch? The tooltip can display a more precise meaning/translation.

Fade Out Time / TT_FADEOUTTIME - The tooltip doesn't add anything here.

Fade In Time / TT_FADEINTIME - The tooltip is identical.

Fade Type / TT_FADETYPE - This is a good combination.

Dance List Fade / TT_DANCELISTFADECOLOR - Good.

Player: Fade - This uses the dutch word rather than "Fade". Just an inconsistency. This particular string
is not used much, not seen much, so not a big problem.

If the helpfile has additional info, then it should be enough.
I'll look into the 'fade' issue asap.
Buttons need to short, i agree.

Yes, TT_FADE can be just 'Fade' or'Fade Out'

Player: Fade can be reset to the original text. No problem at all.
Whenever i have the time' i'll continue the work.

An issue with the "Update Database" text:
This labels used in the drop-down selection for "update database" should match
the explanatory text so that it clear which selection the explanatory text is for.

"Update Modified Files From Audio File Tags"
Bijwerken van gewijzigde bestanden vanuit de audio tags

Bijwerken van gewijzigde bestanden met audio tags info: Vervangt de informatie in de %s database met de audio tags informatie voor audiobestanden met een latere wijzigingsdatum dan wat in de database is opgeslagen.

"Rebuild Database"
Database heropbouwen

Database vernieuwen: Dit zal de %s database volledig vervangen.

"Update from iTunes"
Van iTunes bijwerken

Bijwerken vanuit iTunes: werkt de database %s bij met informatie uit iTunes.

Need a short abbreviation for:
"Maximale afspeeltidj"
This is a heading label and needs to be short.

Another inconsistency:
Marquee is generally translated as 'Banner' elsewhere.

"TT_DANCELISTFADECOLOR" "Marquee kleur: Vervagen danslijst"
"Hide Marquee on Start" "Marquee bij Start verbergen"

I have resolved this issue. The heading will appear on two lines.
The english version was a bit long also.

I'll continue next week.
I agree on your comment on inconsistancy of use of certain words.
Perhaps i shoukd review those and keep the words as they are.
That's a better approach towards the software.

I will see into the other issues as well.
Keep me informed if other issues occur.

I think all of the "Fade" strings could use some clean-up.
I renamed all FADE strings to fade or Fade where neccessary, to get to a more consistant use as requested.
I think that's the best way to do.
Fade is also common used.
Partly the player could use a short string for its button, and I am worried about consistent usage throughout the program.
Can you tell where in the translations this is the case so i can fix it?

Marquee strings have also been reviewed and reset to marquee. I agree on consistancy of word usages.
(Just a thought: Is it possible to add a kind of dictionary chapter in the helpfile where some words are explained for a certain language)

Could you check on the Marquee and fade issues, and come back to me with your remarks.

And i'll try to get the rest done this week.

Looks like fade and marquee translations are now consistent.
And the 'Fade' button for the player will be short, which is good.
The tooltips are not adding any value, so I will just change those to a space character to turn them off.

Yes, anything can be added to the help file, no problem.

I translated the last 7 strings in Crowdin.

I also uploaded the Q&A file (zipfile) with additional info regarding the translated strings.
Please look into those and could you provide feedback pls.
If there is still any inconsistancy in the translations, pls let me know.

And if all is well, do you want me to proceed in proofreading mode to aprove the translations, or are you going to do this?
