- 2021-4-20 , 2021-6-27, 2022-6-2 (3.32.12, 3.32.16) : Crash in music manager when saving.
I am changing the code in 3.32.13 to prevent the crash, but the underlying problem is not fixed.
I am unable to re-create this problem.
2022-6-2 : I still have no idea how to re-create this issue.
I need debugging information on this problem.
- 2022-5-21 Crash
Automatic playlist crashing (I need to research this; seems like an unusual error -- it is getting a bad number during the auto-selection calculations).
I don't have a copy of the playlist that is crashing. Hard to tell what is going on.
I think I found how to re-create this (an automatic playlist where the dance is selected, but the count is zero).
Changed the code to prevent the crashes. Changed playlist management to de-select the dance if the count is zero.
Fixed in 3.32.18
- 2022-1-22 Crash
PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:/Users/Samsung!/Music/2021 BDJ Export Mix/Ballroom2/Salsa2/Disc_1/080.Lo Que Paso Entre Tu Y Yo...Paso.mp3'
There is nothing I can do about permission errors
- 2021-10-27 Crash when selecting the 'Edit Song Lists' button a second time.
Fixed in 3.32.14
- 2021-3-21, 2021-7- 19: Mac OS : Crash in directory chooser
Testing on Big Sur, 11.2.3 :
This error is quite odd:
iconv: conversion from UTF-8-MAC unsupported iconv: try 'iconv -l' to get the list of supported encodings
I cannot duplicate this issue.
Normally, Mac OS is installed such that it uses the native file dialogs, so I'm confused as to how the program got here.
(Apparently due to an upgrade from 3.15.6).
2021-7-19: This happened on a new installation also.
Even switching to the BallroomDJ file dialogs, I have no issue.
I am wondering if there is a filename that is not in utf-8, and cannot be converted properly.
Or is 'iconv' a bad version?
2021-7-19: Both the MacOS iconv and the MacPorts iconv support UTF-8-MAC, so I don't understand how this error occurs.
2021-7-19: The second time this happened, the computer was in the dutch locale using BDJ 3.32.13.
I need debugging information on this problem.
- 2020-9-17: Crash in raffle game.

I can recommend upgrading to version 3.30.0.
Version 3.25.0 is almost 2 years old now.
- 2020-9-16: Crashes due to "permission denied".
Nothing I can do about this. Permissions must be fixed.
This was due to a inadvertent user name change
- 2020-7-27: Crash when: use player from mm; use player in quickplay (dance); use player in quickplay (playlist).
Able to recreate.
Fails to play when not dual queues. Crashes when dual queues are configured.
Will be fixed in 3.29.21.
Fixed in 3.29.21

- 2020-5-1: Crash using BPM counter.
I will need to research this and see if I can duplicate the problem.
I do not know how to duplicate this issue. But I should be able to prevent the crash.
Unable to duplicate, but rewrote the bpmcounter interface so that this crash will not occur.
Fixed in 3.29.17
- 2020-4-29: Crash using mpv.
The musicplayer_tclmpv has an error in it that causes it to crash.
After fixing that, whether mpv works is another question.
mpv is not supported or tested at this time.
Removed MPV support.
Fixed in 3.29.16.1
