- Some companies are using the title-sort tag to store genre information, and this caused the song selection display appear to be sorted incorrectly. BDJ4 will check for specific genres stored in the title-sort tag and remove them. Note that there could be some genre's that I did not find, and these will not be cleared.
- Podcast support is now available. Use Manage / Edit Song Lists / Import Playlist. Adding podcast support found all of the problems with supporting streaming services, and if new streaming services are added in the future, any issues should already be resolved. Note that none of the "walled garden" podcast services (Apple, Spotify, Amazon, etc.) are supported. Only ordinary RSS feeds.

- I did not like the interface for the remove song functionality (I'm going to be using it a lot). This has been re-worked and is easier to use now.
- A new field, "No Play Time Limit" has been added. If this is turned on for a song, the entire song will be played, and the maximum play time limits will not apply.
Automated tests were run on:
- MX Linux 23 [Debian 12] (VLC3 and GStreamer)
- OpenSUSE 15.6 (VLC3 and GStreamer)
- Windows 10 (VLC3)
- MacOS Sequoia (intel) (VLC3)
