This is a Linux only patch. No need to upgrade.
On Linux, the MPRIS interface has been improved. Duration, position and volume have been fixed. Tested with kdeconnect.

The forum registration has been fixed.

Automated tests were run on:

• Linux
  • MX Linux 25 [Debian 13] (VLC3 and GStreamer)
• MacOS
  • MacOS Sequoia (intel) (pkgsrc, macports) (VLC3)
  • MacOS Tahoe (apple silicon) (pkgsrc, homebrew, macports) (VLC3)
• Windows
  • Windows 10 (VLC3 and Windows Media Player)
