I will start with what I can see has not been translated.

The pictures I used for context in crowdin are really, really old.
I never updated those.

If you mean something else by "not the same page layout",
please explain.

I added some context for all of the messages that have not yet been translated.
The context is a text description, not an image.
If you want context images (or updated context images) for any of the messages, please let me know.
If you want better context descriptions for any message, let me know.

I changed these messages that have already been translated.
I think 'reset' translates to other languages better than 'clear'.
I updated the dutch translation in crowdin, but these may need updating.

Don't worry about my comment on the page layout. As you explained, the images are from an older version.

For me 'reset' and 'clear' have a different meaning.
Reset: Sets a value to a default value
Clear: clears the value from the screen

I'll look into the 4 other translated that may need updating.

Just for your information:
Some English words do not need to be translated into dutch, because some are common used in our language as well.
for instance: time-out has no specific translation or a much longer translation unusable for software.
Tags: are also used, especially by the younger people.

As we are all used to use foreign words in current applications, in software or specific hardware, it's best not to translate them, but an additional information message added to the software could be more efficient. (just a thought )

I am not a big fan of tooltips (balloon help), but the use case you describe is certainly a good use of tooltips.

If you can make a list of where a balloon help would be useful, I can work
on making additional balloon help available for those particular items.

I have balloon help set up for the four options with the word "fade", and I will upload that now.
I need to do some more work to make a balloon help for button widgets.

Is there a phrase used for "exit program"?
I'd like the "Exit" translation to be differentiated from "Close".
It's not an big issue for the main program, but it's wrong for the error handler window.

I guess I can change the error handler window to have "Exit Program" (as it is a button, not a menu entry).
The main window has "Exit" as a menu selection, so it's nice to have that as a single word.

Perhaps additional info can be added to the manual. (also just a thought)

I'll try to create a list for those items that need some brief additional balloon help.

Answering your question: Is there a phrase used for "exit program"?
yes: "Afsluiten" (translating "exit program" : "programma afsluiten")
Commenly used in software language files to exit a program, the word "afsluiten" is used.
It's brief and too the point.

Close = Sluiten (close a page or a window)
Exit = Afsluiten (close the program)
