Using Quick Edit to Save an Adjustment to the Song's Volume
Do you have a song that is always too loud when it plays? Or too soft? Are you returning to the computer more often that you would like to adjust the volume?
One of the goals of BDJ4 is to be able to play the entire playlist without having to constantly attend to the computer (I'd rather be ballroom dancing).
The scenario: The playlist is playing and a song starts playing and it is too loud. You can return to the computer and turn the volume down. Then when the next song starts playing, you will have to remember to turn the volume back up.
Instead, use the Quick Edit function to adjust the song's volume so that you don't have to do it again.
The player is set to have a default volume of 70%:

Adjust the player's volume to a more appropriate volume for this song:

Now select the Quick Edit: Current menu item in the Actions menu:
( Quick Edit: Current edits the currently playing song. Quick Edit: Selected edits a song that has been selected in a music queue or in the history queue ).

The Quick Edit dialog will display. Note that the volume adjustment for the song has already been calculated, and there is no need to make any changes to the Volume Adjustment slider.
( The fields displayed in the Quick Edit dialog can be set in Configure / Dialogs. In this example, all fields are turned on. )

Select the Save button. The Quick Edit dialog will close. Note that the player volume has returned to the default 70%. You can return to dance floor and dance without worrying about the volume for the next song.
Looking at the song in the Song Editor (at a later time, not during the dance), the volume adjustment is saved for the song,

The next time this song is played, the volume adjustment will be applied, and the song will play at a more appropriate volume, and no volume adjustment will be necessary during the dance.
One thing to note about using Quick Edit is to make sure you do not try to use it when the song is about to finish playing. If the current playing song ends, or the current selected song changes, Quick Edit will not save any changes, as BDJ4 has to be careful not to apply changes to the incorrect song.
