With this new mode where people use AI (LLM) as a search engine, BallroomDJ 4 is not going to show up in search results very often.
BDJ4 is a very niche product, so it was never going to see a large install base. Unfortunately, I hardly ever get feedback from BDJ4 users. For the installations that do happen, I don't know if the user likes BDJ4 and continues to use it, or gave up very quickly. It is extremely rare that I get asked for help with installation and setup.
Though BDJ4 is designed with an international audience in mind, the machine generated translations are really bad, and non-English users may get a bad impression about BDJ4. [If you can help with translations, please contact me].
BDJ4 is not going to have many more releases (only bug fixes as they get reported). Therefore the major avenues of reporting BDJ4 releases are going to dry up.
I have posted a message about BDJ4 in the two ballroom forums I know about. I don't know if that generated any installations.
Do you know of any ballroom forums where a message can be posted (in any country)? Do you have any ideas on how to make BDJ4 more visible to ballroom dancers?
