When cross-fading the last song in the queue was not being processed properly. This has now been fixed.
The Linux GStreamer player interface now supports cross-fading.
As a reminder, only the Windows Windows Media Player and with 4.17.2 the Linux GStreamer player interfaces support cross-fading.
Other minor bug fixes.
Automated tests were run on:

- Debian 13 (VLC3 and GStreamer)
- OpenSUSE Leap 15.6 (VLC3 and GStreamer)
- OpenSUSE Leap 16.0 (VLC3 and GStreamer)

- MacOS Tahoe (applesilicon) (VLC3)

- Windows 10 (VLC3 and Windows Media Player)
MacOS users, be sure to run the version 23 pre-install script.
Linux users, be sure to run the version 12 pre-install script.
