Fixed .wav audio file metadata processing.
New: MacOS now has a native player interface (using the AVPlayer API). This interface supports cross-fading. It does not support playing .ogx, .wma or .mka files. If you choose to use this player interface, VLC may be removed from your system.
Automated tests were run on:
- Linux
- MX Linux 25 [Debian 13] (VLC3 and GStreamer)
- MacOS
- MacOS Sequoia (intel) (macports) (VLC3 and MacOS AVPlayer)
- MacOS Tahoe (apple silicon) (homebrew, macports) (VLC3 and MacOS AVPlayer)
- Windows
- Windows 10 (VLC3 and Windows Media Player)
MacOS users, be sure to run the version 24 pre-install script.
Linux users, be sure to run the version 12 pre-install script.
