Before installing on Windows, make sure your anti-virus definitions are up to date.

There is no malware present in BDJ4.

Be aware that as some of the smaller programs have changed, Windows may mark them incorrectly as malware. I have submitted another false positive to Microsoft, and it has been cleared (this program has been submitted three times now). If you still get malware notifications from Windows Defender, please let me know, and I will get them cleared again.

If you use some other anti-virus product, I cannot help -- there are too many out there, and many of them do not allow non-subscribers to submit false positives.

Fixed the user interface colors for light themes (and some small changes for dark themes).
Fixed the Management window not resizing properly.
Version 4.17.11 fixed installation on Windows for account names with international characters.

Automated tests were run on:
  • Linux
    • MX Linux 25 [Debian 13] (VLC3 and GStreamer)
  • MacOS
    • MacOS Sequoia (intel) (macports) (VLC3 and MacOS AVPlayer)
    • MacOS Tahoe (apple silicon) (homebrew, macports) (VLC3 and MacOS AVPlayer)
  • Windows
    • Windows 10 (VLC3 and Windows Media Player)

MacOS users, be sure to run the version 24 pre-install script (either Homebrew or MacPorts).

The Linux installation should work on Debian 11, 12 and 13.
